“I love the music of the Baby Boomer generation. And I loved the work I did with this demographic to give them confidence in preparing for and embarking on their retirement income journey. As they moved through the stages of their retirement, everything changed. Health declined, spouses passed, markets tumbled, spending needs were defined. But we managed the changes together and in doing so, deepened our relationship and found solutions that worked for their unique situation. They often said, “thank you” — but I learned so much from them to make me a better planner. In this book, they have allowed me to share their stories and bring home the significance of responsive financial planning. For that, I sincerely thank THEM.”
“Music and lyrics tell a story, and, in my opinion, none did that better than the songs of the Boomer generation. If you read the book, you’ll see how these client experiences often brought some of these songs to mind.” — Daryl Diamond
Through the client stories, many planning strategies are put into a perspective for clients and advisors alike, to help them define the issues and create a commitment to a personalized strategy.
